Making turbo log manis
I've been helping out a buddy make log manis for his soon to be turbo w-body regal.
Heres the pics so far:
(yeah thats me holdin it)
We decided instead of pinching the beginning of the primary to match the flange that we would just weld inside/out and grind it down smooth.
Hes still trying to decide if hes going to weld everything up or have someone in his family do it. He can lay a pretty good bead but wants it to look real good.
Whattcha think?

Mike would you guys build one that will bolt to an L36 stock crossover? I like the idea here... And we all know the front mani is bad on the L36 and L67, but the rear is not too bad...
Would be interesting to see options other than headers for the series II

But.. those primaries and log are rather large and if your just trying to compliment the rear tubular, smaller pipe may drop cost?
For now we'll just see how this pans out.

Looks good, Mike!
Try some mild steel next time round for your next super awesome setup. Should cheapen things up. And I'm not sure what you think of this, but I would say you'd want tighter tubes in the front to ramp up the velocity due to the fact that it has further to travel than the rear bank.
