Default Coolant plug

I saw a link to a site Easy Performance Products. They have a coolant plug that goes in the throttle body. I am curious has anyone tried this yet? and what were the results??
If anyone has tried this how do you order it? I looked on the site and all I could find was like for catalogs and stuff.

Thanks,

Tim

I dont know if anyone tried it but for 25 dollars i dont think you can go wrong. Just clean the tb while you have it off and put to plug in. I am going to be doing it in the spring.

It'* going to make very little to no performance change on a steet-driven L36, and may cause icing problems in the throttle plate in the winter.

For the L67'*, it'* debatable. After a spirited run or two at the track, the coolant actually helps cool the TB and moreso, the inlet of the SC.

There are many arguments on both sides, but that'* only because it'* different if you're SC or NA, or even HOW you drive or in what climate.

In short, no easy answer, and no noticable performance change.

Look at the more recent pics of my engine. I have temperature strips all over it for determining the best path forward with regards to that coolant on the L67.

I really didn't think it would make that much difference. I just wanted to get some opinions on it. Thanks for the help gang. I don't think I'll waste my money on it.

Thanks

Tim

Just fill your coolant port in your TB with RTV and trim the excess with a razor blade.
