20 spoke wheel weight
Hey guys! This is my first post and I am new to the site. I've been on clubpg for a number of years though. I have a question about Bonneville wheels. I have a set of the 20 spoke wheels on my 04 GTP Comp G. 17" x 7.5" is wider than my factory 17" x 6.5" wheels. I like the look too. One of my wheels has a slight bend in the inner lip. You can't see it looking at the car but you can on a balancer and you can feel it a little. I plan on replacing it but haven't found one at the right price yet. I've looked on this site because I wanted to find out the weight of the 20 spoke 17" wheel on the 00-01 cars. Does anyone know it'* weight? What about the weights of the other available wheels for bonnevilles? Have fun guys and I appreciate the help.

When I put new tires on mine the rims were very light. Had to be alluminum or alum/alloy. I don't reckon it wieghed more than 10 pounds.

Most factory rims will be cast aluminum. My bet is they will be in the 20lb range.
12 to 15 lbs is considered light for a 17" rim and is only going to be obtained with forged rims.
