Default L36 HV Intake Insert (zzp)

Does anyone have this?

Is it worth the extra money if I need to replace the upper intake gasket anyway?

Without a cam or rockers with shift points of at least 6300, it'* probably gonna either make your car slower or yeild no 1/4 mile gain. It increases the upperitake manifold volume a little and shortens the intake runners. Both of which are only good for top end power.
It'* definitely a mod that should come after a few major things to take full advantage of it.
But if your not going to the track, it'* gonna feel like it'* got more power esp up top and on the highway.
It felt that way for me on a pretty stock engine but i never went to a track.
There'* been some heated discussions on it'* potential on clubgp in the past.

Looks to me like it would be pretty nice. But, then again you probablly would need some better supporting mods to help get the most out of it. If you had a hotter cam and rockers you would get more out of it. You can always try it though, it'* your money, not ours.

I've heard that a higher stall torque conv. helps out a lot with the HVII.
