Spark Advance.. and other OBDI info analysis requested

OK i have built my own OBDI reader (laptop) and its pretty sweet but i have some questions i wanna ask.
My spark advance is up at or above 20* quite alot. And my O2 sensor readings jump alll over the place, is it normal for them to bounce around or does that tell me i need a new one? And what does "ESC Count" mean? and is it normal for it to climb to like 90 or so in one decently hard trip? Thanks for hte hep and i know i will be back with more questions as i figgure this things out

If your 02 doesnt bounce you need a new one. Your timing will vary but you really want to watch these settings at WOT as that is when it all matters. Not sure what the settings are for your year but im assuming similar to mine.

At WOT you want between 15-17 timing and your 02 mv readings should be around 900 i would say 890 to 930 is normal. Again these are for my year so somebody else with experience on your year may want to chime in.

Rogue is correct. Your variation in the O2 is because it's reading the levels of unburnt hydrocarbons constantly....and adjusting the AFR to prevent them. When it stops varying or toggling, you have problems.
