Default gtp comp g trans

will this work as i need a new trans mines took a dump and i know that the comp g trans has the 3.29:1 final drive ratio compared to the 2.93:1 in my L67 impala i know there are gear ratio kits but i figure since i have to change the trans i can get one with the ratio i want already and save cause those kits are $300-$400 and the trans i found at morad is only $599 they say it will work but something about it having a extra mounting tab on the front of the bell housing for additional support of the oil pan that is not on other 04 and some 05 cars

I also found out that the 1st gen lacrosse cxs used the 4t65-e with a 3.69:1 final drive ratio so this to could be a donor as my godmother has one sitting behind her house with a bad engine and low miles
