I was reading another thread about these where they would give a discount to whoever installed them and took engine bay pics. That sounds kindof fishy to me.

A member at the regal club bought them he said that they were pretty well packaged and they look good quality. The welds are thick and the flanges are thicker than those of the pacesetters. The only slightly negative thing he saw about them was that the welds are very thick and require a little smoothing out. Other than that they look good. It will be interesting once he puts them on his car.

A side note, when I was putting in the cam and took the lifters out, I had them sitting in the valley. When I put the new cam in and was rotating it to slide I heard a plunk, something pretty big fell down into the oil pan. The balancer shifted one of the lifters and it fell right down in. Now what are the odds of that happening? Moral of this side story is don't leave your lifters in the valley when installing the cam! The good thing about it happening is since I then had to pull the oil pan I decided to order one of the new aluminum oil pans with built in baffle.
Back on topic here is a link to the header pics.

Is it just me, or does it look like the only way to install these is with the engine out of the car?

Where's the break in the crossover?

harofreak00 02-06-2007 10:14 PM
