i have a set of 15" wheels to put them on, i was thinking about 235/60r15 bfg drag radials or might get aggressive and go with MT drag slicks for FWD cars 22x8x15
and yes , i drive my car every day. i found out the hard way about this , never make a run with the air on, when im in the staging lanes, i have the air on so that the cooling fans are on, well last week, i forgot to turn it off when i staged, needless to say, my a/c clutch came apart monday. i removed the clutch and left the pully there because you cant get a belt to work without using the a/c pulley. what it did was break the rubber bond holing it to the outer clutch cover, then melted the rubber too.and for $500 , i can due without a/c and maybe get something cooler for my car, like a zex system

Certified Car Nut
Ah, you don't run the heat to help get heat out of the engine compartment? Well you think you're gonna go nitrous? Man allmachtige has that, but he says he'* stopped using it on the street, and its only for the strip now i believe. He says he doesn't wanna rebuild it as soon as he would. But you would definetly get some nice ET'* with that... I've heard that you have to be very careful with a supercharger and maybe do direct injection? You don't want nitrous going thru that baby, eating away at it, pooling up, possible creating explosions...

well with nitrous, what causes the explosions is fuel puddling in the intake. i woudluse a dry system and i already have 24# injectors plus i would richen up the air/fuel mixture using my mini afc 2.0. i was really thinking hard about going with the NOS noszle system, but its 1200 bux. also the the Sc motors have forged internal parts too unlike the NA motors
