what pads for PowerSlot Cryo-Treated Rotors?
2001 SSEI
the installation sheet recommends severe duty semi-metallic brake pads such as hawk performance brand.
any reason to not run ceramics?
what is my best option and from where?

I'm running Raybestos Quiet-stop Ceramics on mine. I love 'em.
Just make sure your REAR brakes are up to snuff. Adjusted, and new drums/shoes. Weak rear brakes can over-work fronts, and warp rotors. Uneven rotor/lug torque can too.
With all this considered, I'm very happy. Break your rotors in just like they tell you.

I got the same rotors as you and Im running Ceramic pads cause I didn't want the brake dust.
I am happy with them, but the hawks mite bite and stop better with some dust

Don't missunderstand, alot of people here are using ceramic pads with good results. You can't argue with success.
There are good semi-metalic pads that do not dust much more than ceramics and will hold up better to enthusiastic driving of light track use.
