shudder in cruise?

Generally in cruise. The tranny has a shudder once and a while when trying to maintain the set speed going up hill? New to the site. Any ideas would be great.

Thanks

Check your motor mounts. mainly the front one.

How old are your plugs/wires?
Many torque converter lock up or cruise issues are ignition related.

ok thanks I will check

Thanks for the fast reply. Plug wires are only one year old. Had something chew a couple into pieces and the plugs are about 35,000 to 40,000 miles on them. What is the best brand of plugs to use on the 3800 supercharged?

I will also check the motor mounts. Again thanks for the fast reply.

I use autolites, others use NKG. Both work great. Make sure your wires for #4 and #6 are not touching the wire for teh O2 sensor wire. Also make sure there are no grounded wires.

Here is the mount to check. My bolt fell out and I didn't even know it had happened until I reached down and grabbed it. It's in the front drivers side.

Check your tranny mounts too: I had the same shudder in mine w/Cruise and I'm getting a tranny mount replace on Monday....
