Later 3800 into '87 Bonneville?
Noob question,
has anybody done a swap of a later n/a 3800 into a first gen fwd bonne?
If so, what'* involved?
how difficult is it (near bolt in or complete PITA)?
Share the knowledge guys,

P.*. before anybody suggests newer bonne or supercharged engine, I have no interest in either. Odd as it may sound I like the looks of this one and I have a different idea for power boost if i can get the motor swap to work.

Search "Frankenbonne"
It was done into a 90, which was found to be the first year with the torque axis mount bolt holes already in place. No reason why you can't fab them or have a shop weld some in at the proper location for you.
Instead of using the SC'd motor/trans like in Frankenbonne, just use an SE, SLE or SSE as your donor car.
