I hope you weren't refering that to me..
I meant it made no sense bout how he went into the calculations.. that just went "woosh" over my head..

Wat Scott says I will agree with.. even though I probably don't understand it.. but if he believes it.. that'* good enough for me.. he won't stear us wrong.
I meant it towards Mark M.

OK, if your plugs are the correct plugs for the car, and the wires are in decent shape you aren't going to get any horsepower there. Bigger injectors just give you enough fuel to be able to handle more horsepower, they don't give you more power. Lightweight rods may help, but they would have to be pretty light to make a noticable difference in horsepower. As far as the regulator I am assuming it is a fuel pressure regulator, as the mod list doesn't say what kind of regulator it is, but all that does is control how much fuel pressure you are running, which doesn't give you more power, it allows you to adjust the fuel if the car is running to rich or lean, but if it using a computer to control the fuel anyways (which it is), the computer will just adjust any tuning you do back to stock, so basically it is useless. I can not see any of these mods making a noticable difference in power.
ok i know that this guy is a big bulls*iter but why do you add such thing to a car if it doesnt make any hp so your saying people basic waste money! dunno
bboonneevviillee is also mark_m

So I guess he'* talking to himself? Arguing with himself? Funny game.

Extrapolated to the 50 pound/hour fuel injectors run in the fastest L67-powered cars, that would imply the possibility of 101.3 WHP per cylinder. Now, taking that back to six cylinders would mean 608 WHP is achievable with the 50 pounders that we run. And 608 WHP is roughly equivalent to 751 crank horsepower. I know from personal experience that 50 pound fuel injectors (in a six cylinder engine) max out slightly over 400 WHP, or 500 crank horsepower. For you to somehow have exceeded our linear results by 50 percent seems highly improbable to me.

So, I invite you to PLEASE come to INTENSE Drag Day IV and give us a little demonstration of your power. With 304 WHP, you'd EASILY win the Naturally Aspirated class.

Scott
I am into speed but not really in the drag strip and performance like that because of lack of knowledge but I was wondering is the the place in Ohio by US 20 by Perrysbug?

Good find will, yeah that'* pretty sad if you have to go do stuff like talk to yourself and make no sense to get noticed, unless it'* two seperate people on one computer, which is unlikely..

I know they are somewhere around there. That is probably the place, I cannot tell you for sure though. Maybe PM Scott Cook and ask him.

Default L27 Vs. L36 question

On a related, but not argumentative note:

Just out of curiosity, what did GM change to increase the HP between the L27 Series I vs. the L36 Series II engine?

How about the new series III engine?

They bumped up compression, and made RPMS higher, and changed the intake manifold(for the worst IMHO). Also, that damn engine cover looks silly...
