Series 2 L67 Engine cover on a Series 1 L67?

Would it fit? I'd like to mesh one for my 95 SSEi if it would fit.

Anyone done this S2 cover on a S1 ?

Why would it be rice? Personally I think the Series II cover looks way better than the Series I cover. And if you're saying it's rice because it would say Series II while being put on a Series I motor, I've already had thoughts of modifying it to say Series I, because I'm not about to put something on the car that says something that it isn't.

And how do you know it doens't fit or could be be slightly modified to fit? You ever tried it?

It wont fit. Your motor is a different design. and the SC sits differently.

Hmm, because i had a series 1 and series 2 sitting by each other, none the less the design of the series 2 is quite a bit different on top so it wouldnt contour with the curves like it should. the sc snout is different so it would interfere with the pulley, more also but its just simple enough to say its not worth it

Or run no engine cover!

Silver bullet did this.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm one of those people who likes to modify things using stock stuff from other cars/applications so your answers were very helpful. I'll keep brainstorming something or end up jsut going ahead and meshing my Series 1 cover. I realize removing it helps keep even more heat out of there, but I don't care for how "messy" it looks under it to keep it exposed entirely. After being able to display an awesome intake on my SHO, I'm kinda spoiled into wanting to see something flashy when I pop the hood.

I'll come up with somethin'...
