1. Sell the car and buy an SSEi. 2. Swap the entire drivetrain from an SSEi (including engine, trans, wiring harness, and PCM) into an SE 3. Try the conversion that nobody has ever done because it's not cost effective. Now if cost effective isn't a concern, let's look at it from a labor standpoint. From simplest to most difficult: 1. Sell the car and buy an SSEi. 2. Swap the entire drivetrain from an SSEi (including engine, trans, wiring harness, and PCM) into an SE 3. Try the conversion that nobody has ever done because it's not labor effective. As you can see from the two scenarios above, the easiest and cheapest thing to do is sell and buy the SSEi. Period. |
I've definitely heard of at least one person bolting a s/c, LIM, brackets, injectors, pulleys, etc. on a L27 bonneville. So, just because it's not on the internet dosen't mean it never happened.
And there are more than a few gp guys that swapped heads, LIM, s/c, injectors, etc. onto a L36. They aren't 'the same motor' so it's not like you can just bolt a s/c on. But it can be done. |
You'll need a L67 harmonic balancer, L67 Heads, L67 injectors, L67 Lower intake, L67 Supercharger, L67 PCM programming, probably the L67 fuel rail and the misc tensioners and idlers for the supercharger belt. You will also need the GT-> GTP wiring harness adapters for boost bypass and MAP. This is not an easy swap.

you just to need to search around the forums.... there is differences between the 92, 93 and 94-95 L67's also Trans are also specific to certain years.... not to mention that 92-93 are pure OBD1 and 94-95 are OBD 1/2, you need to reeeealy know what your doing....there are also differences between the NA L27 and the L67 with the internals of the engine |
