Sadly..can't post from a computer.

Has to be done from a web server. Web hosting, or Yahoo photos..your choice

This has been discussed before. Your reflector assemblies were not designed for this. Every bit of paint or blackout material you put on the lenses will block light. They're designed to project light across the entire surface area of the lens.

"Projector" lamps have specially designed reflector assemblies.

i am just talking about one of those blackout lenses that people have that cover the whole lens. Could you take something like that and drill a hole in the middle and then mount the whole thing over your existing lights...you might be able to even spray it the ouside the color of your car to match...would a reflective cover on the insideo of the cover help a little to put light back, or am I just wasting my time?

Whether you paint your lenses, or paint the covers, it'* the same thing. If you hold your hand 1" in front of your face, you still can't see beyond it. The light is spread across the whole surface of the lens. In order to make this work, you could get the covers in clear, mask off the center that you want clear, and spray VHT nightshades on the rest. About 3 coats should do. I'd do this on the INSIDE of the headlight covers. The VHT will allow most of the light to come out, and you won't lose much. You won't get a choice of colors though.

If you cover your lights with anything solid that won't transmit light, you will regret it.

Very true and the word "ricer" is synonymous with fool in my book but it can "look" cool. You can buy a conforming headlight film that you cut holes in. They come off when you need to take them off. Ill find the link for ya. As Will said on a serious not this is only a fun option not worth any performance value. Actually it handicaps your lights for the sake of looks...But it is fun.

Covers have always baffled me. You all these lengths to upgrade to PIAA'*, Cool Blues, Silver Stars, HIDS, xenon discharge etc all in a valiant effort to increase lighting power only to cover them up with blackouts.

And we all know that older cars with stock headlamps with covers = trouble.

The "coolness" factor is too much stop people from doing this mod.
