Rice pipe
what is the average cost of putting a rice pipe described in the sticky on a 1993 NA bonne?
|
Should be around 40$ or whatever the cost of the pipe. Add an air filter (K&N) and coupler to the throttle body and it should be under 100$ total.

For a good intake, you can't beat that price.

if you've got the cash and do it right, you'll really enjoy the results. but by all means don't succumb to the "keeping up with the joneses" attitude. it's a cool thing to customize your car a little bit, but coming from my perspective, it can just make you want more and more. sorry for the lecture, but i'm having a hard time keeping myself from buying more crap that i really don't need right now... just a bit of advice. HOWEVER, if it's only a drop in the bucket, go for it. buy a k&n, and get it online. pm me if you need a good vendor. lol how's that for hypocrisy?

That's great advice....but to tempt him further.....
If you have only ONE mod to do, this is it. But do it right. This will provide a little more power, better throttle response, and higher mileage on a properly tuned-up vehicle. This benefits NA and SC alike in these same ways. Just be warned that alot of ricer knock-off filters actually hold WATER. Just another way rice gets slow when they try to go fast. Don't skimp on the filter. That's the key piece. And plan ahead for a heat shield BEFORE you buy anything. |
thanks...i am going to think about doing that. I have to get some cash first though
