Default Suspension: Compression characteristics q?

I don't ever recall seeing anything on this topic, and i'd love to hear if anyone has any idea on this. I'm trying to really nail down my suspension this spring/summer and one major area of concern is some nasty bump steer that rears it'* head on a manhole cover going up the hill I live at the base of.

Is there any rear toe angle change under compression? I know some IRS systems have this built in...

Nope. The rear ties go to the A-arms and hold the toe throughout the range.

What I thought, just wondering if there was anything special to keep in mind...
