Default What about an oil cooler?

It would be cool to plumb the oil out to a cooler, then back in. Any designs or ideas on this already out there? Do our cars already have an oil cooler??

I know mine has one built in the Rad but not sure if your year does too. Look at your radiator and see if there are any extra lines going in or out of it on the back side of it. Mine has tranny and oil cooler lines going thru it as well.

1993 SSEi. It probably already has it then. Man, my car runs hot. Still have to do the flush this weekend. Oh yeah, where in heck is the drain plug on the radiator?!?!?

Should be drivers side at te very bottom in the corner. Round black plug with a flat tab on it to turn. There should also be a small (1.5"maybe)hard plastic nosel comming out of the rad right next to it. That'* where it drains from. This only does the coolant though.

All you need to do is spin the plug. As the plug gets about 1-1.5 rotations out it will start to dump coolant thru the outlet I mentioned. Nothing to remove, only spin.

But I can't even get to the radiator from the under side. There'* a plate covering it all that the fenders attach to. Or is it on the fron side?? I'm sorry...I'm a little confused...

Here is a pic (look at the one at the bottom):

See the two green plugs on the left? If you look right below the bottom one you can make out the plug and outlet port (very corner). This view is looking at it from the engine forward. The upper left is by the air intake and the upper right is by the battery. The bottom is closest to the ground. You should be able to reach it by just reaching down the back side of the rad. This help at all?
