While I was talking to the guy, come to find out selling of aftermarket HID'* is now illegal in the states. I only got to talk to him for a lil bit, we are going to continue the conversation tomorrow since it was 3 in the morning his time. So I am going to see how much it is going to cost just to do the projector retrofit in our headlamps. Im guessing that it will hopefully be around $300 or so. He said it should only take a couple of days to do.

What??? HID illegal in the states now? First I've heard of that. I wanted to get HID too, just waiting till the cost comes down to $200 I'm hoping. Guess not if the US is pulling the plug.

Other wise, are my 01 lights considered projectors?
Either way I want to get the brightest lights I can get, xenonor what ever. I just refuse to pay $400 for HID, Silver stars are doing the job right now. Angle eyes are coming though, really just want the 55 watt main bulb, haven't decide if I'm going to run with the EYE hooked up yet.

This only applies to cars that did not come equipped with factroy HID'*. It looks like they followed how Canada did it. I guess it passed in August of this year. Deathrat are you still selling HID'* through your store. Hopefully we can get a group buy on both the projector & HID'*. I know the xenon depot will do group buy on HID'*. But the bulb I want is the 4100k.

I dont any of the Bonnevilles came with projectors. The projectors I am talking about are like on the BMW'* & European cars, & some Cadillac'*.

So I'll say YES I'm interested, but I'm +00. I want HID'*/projector now if this is my last chance to get em. Count me in.

I think itll look good on your car especially since you already got black housings. Im gonna try & get a hold of him again. DO you have a day when you wanna do them. Like now or in a month or so?

Ok just got all the info & it goes like this:
For labor it is $300 & for parts its $400 so total cost is $700 plus shipping. For shipping he said it should be about $50 roundtrip all depending on were you live.

For the labor price includes:
He pretty much does everything for you. All you have to do is take the headlights out, install them back in and mount the ballast.

For the price: It includes The projectors which are from an Audi A4. It also comes with the HID kit using DS2 bulbs. This is the type of HID used in BMW, Benz, Audi, & other european makes.

So if you just want the projectors retrofitted I think itll be around $500 all together. That way you can get the HID'* later if its to much. But in the end the will have a factory look to them. It wont look rigged up.

I think it would look great on my car, just $700 for lighting is too much for me. guess I'm stuck with the stockers than. I'm sure my angle eyes will help some, it'll just have to be enough. :?
