Default Rear Bucket Seats

This caught my eye today.......I pulled the rear seat, bench and back.....looks easy enough if you have the seat hardware. This guy has an LCD built into the console and the DVD is where the drink holders go. Thought this may be a good mod for Taylor D and his show car build up......maybe a custom fiberglass rear deck with speaker inserts?

That'* COOL! That would be a nice custom project.

:? Except the color of that console doesn't match. But that'* not the point of this post I know.

The first one I'm told has poor mounts and are not for sitting in? Thats why the seat belts are done up, they're holding them in lol
here is a better job, works but shallow leg room?

Heaven forbid that car is in an accident. There was a prototype GP called the GPX. It had bucket seats in the back

The 1989-1/2 and 1990 Grand Prix Turbo came with 4 bucket seats and a full length console. Maybe the 1990 Grand Prix STE McClaren turbo came with them also, but I've never seen inside one of those, just the 3.1 STE.
Definitely food for thought.

Ive seen a similar setup like that before. But in this one the connected the two consules, and moved the vents closer to the seats.

there was a guy a while back on ClubGP that put in buckets and had the fiberglass like a c5 corvette has seperating the two seats. looks like a lot of work for what you get though

That'* what I was gonna say All that work to do that and you can't even sit in them, geeez.

I have my rear seat belts always connected, but that'* because I'm anal and like a clean and neat car.
