The problem with the stickers/covers is that the block light from the bulbs. The projectors are made to "project" a strong beam from the circular lens (actually more of a hemisphere, but anywho) that is more focused and brighter. Since it uses a lense to focus the light it only needs a small hole to shine through. The polycrystalline reflectors that are stock on the bonneville use reflected light that exits through all points of the clear plastic. What we need is a full cluster replacement, that places two pairs of projectors behind some plastic covers with or without the stickers covering parts that light doesn't go through. The headlights on the busted *** Nissan in the pic below are a pair of circular reflectors mounted in black plastic with a clear plastic covers, this looks good as well, but doesn't have the power of true projectors, and by now you've probably stopped reading because I ramble too much, so I'll stop typing now, too.
