Tech-2 questions and laptop link questions
My roomates dad is a mechanic for a GM dealer in his town. He has a tech-2 scanner. Anything sweet i can do with this and my car if i ever came down for the weekend?
I have a 1993 SE bonneville with SLE package. I've seen some stuff about this before on newer models but i'm just curious.
And i also have a laptop i got this summer, and i'm wondering if there is an affordable cable for my fully compliant OBD I car (e.g. not a crossover year like 94).

You need the standard 12-pin ALDL cable.
The Tech II is the best scantool for your car. Do you have any problems with it?

Ask for the police calibration, I was told you'll need the sat link with the tech II scanner. He has to punch your vin and the shops access number to get it from GM, not too many places will do this.
