LT1 V8
Do you think it would be possible to fit an LT1 in your bonneville? Because they use those in police cars and the Bonny'* engine compartment is pretty big. What do you think?

yeah
Youd have to gut the whole thing. (uncluding all motor mounts) then weld up some custom ones... and hook in a 4E80-E HD (I think thats the code for cadillac/northstar) tranny..

An older 350 V8 RWD swap has been fabricated in a 93 Bonneville before (different trans of course), so yes I suppose. Hope you got lots of money!

The ls1 GP in the mag blew its drivetrain the moment they let it go. The cost factor is the issue and rwd is more practical for parts but you can do it. Domestic Performance has 3 different companies we work with and it can be done to any H body seamlessly. Many of the options for the caddy and the H body come from our pursuit of swap options. LS1, LS6, and Northstar. All the custom projects include transmissions, or transaxles. Total cost is easily 15000.00 up to 60.000.00.

You know what would be easy..
a 2000ish corvette drive train with the transaxel at back... mite need some fabing but if you got bottomless pockets..
