Cheap Slicks
I've realized that street tires+L67+track= no more tread. So, what is a good cheap pair of sliks I could use for rare track visits?

My dad uses MT ET Streets on his GTP and has them mounted on the GP 5 spoke wheels. He has over 100 passes on them and they still have AT LEAST 50% tread left. He also pulls consistant 1.7 60'*. But, being slicks, you will have to do a good burnout to heat them up so they stick, which is hard on your tranny, and because of this burnout your car will be covered in rubber. It literally gets all over the roof of the car and on the trunklid and everything. I think he paid like $320 for the pair new, but on ClubGP you could probably find some used for half that. I've heard Hoosier QTP'* are good too. There really is no such thing as a cheap slick, so you'll have to find them used if you want a deal.
