Default When should i get a new PCM?

Hey, i have plans on modding my bonneville and i was wondering when should i get a new PCM? should i get it right away? or should i wait to get certain mods then get one.

well usually you just have it reflashed if your mods require it. what kind of mods are you talking about? if you don't have any and don't plan on spending a whole heck of alot of money right away, PCM reflashing probably is not needed right now. But before I judge too quickly, what are those mods?

It makes more sence to get a pcm after you do mods. A pcm will unlock a little more power from intake and exhaust mods that you can't achieve on a stock tune.

The Mods im getting are, a new CAI, HV3, 180 Thermostat, U-bend eliminator, and a Shift Kit.

im working on finding exhaust stuff rignt now

I would skip the HV3 untill you do rockers or a cam. You will get much more power out of it that way.

im pretty sure ill need a new pcm once i get some rockers and a cam right? and oh pardon the u-bend lol

Rocker OR Cam, unless the rockers you're doing with a cam are the stock ratio (1.60) rollers.

The cam will increase valve lift as it is, and adding higher ratio rockers on top would be WAY too much. A cam will give you a broader power band but rockers are much easier to install.
