1/4 Mile Track Estimation
First off, let me say hello to all the members of the board...I am new here..and hope to get some good information out of this Forum.
I have a 2001 SSEi, I have yet to take it to the Track to get some good 1/4 mile timed runs. I am just wondering what you think my car will run based on my mods. Take a look at my Sig for current mods...thanks guys

Welcome!!! I was wondering how long it'd take for you to switch over from clubgp. I've got that naughty userid over there (something -donator).
Again, I say 14 flat -low 14'* -you've got a heavy car there -if it was a 1996-1999 SSEi with those mods I'd drop 2/10'*.

cool, man....I figured that I would better off posting here...because they are more geared for the GTP. Here is a sample clip of the Exhaust before the welding...

heh yeah when I finished installing my engine I didn't have the exhaust fully bolted on and I took it for a test spin. I think it sounds like crap without the exhaust bolted on. Did you take it for a test drive? Even with the ultra light break-in I tried to give it I noticed a big difference in performance. Nice car though!

Welcome to the club, you should run lower than 14.7 I ran a 14.7 in my 01 ssei with pretty much the same mods as you minus the headers. I didn't hook up too well so I know I could of cut a tenth or 2.
For you I'd figure 14.2ish. and with rockers and some better traction definitly be in the high 13'*.
Great sound clip, sounds real tuff, my day is coming soon when I hear that.

As was already said, if you know how to launch the car at all (maybe a 2.1 or so 60') it should run around a 14.2 assuming you have your KR under control (which you should with headers). And as was also already said, rockers would REALLY wake it up with the headers and all. Then with some good weather, a smaller pulley, and a good launch, 13'* may not be unachievable. I believe I could've pulled a 14.2 or maybe even quicker in my moms SSEi with a good launch (and I'm pretty good at launching FWD cars) and a little tuning, but she, without any tuning, and a 2.299 60', pulled a 14.681 @ 94.90, and supposedly she let off the gas before the end, so that seems pretty good to me. And here car has essentially the same mods as yours except it has rockers instead of headers (gives about the same power gain). So based on that, I would say that is why your car should be capable of running a 14.2.
BTW....Nice Exhaust!!!
