Newbie Question...
I know this is going to be really lame, but I don't even know where to start when looking for a pulley for my supercharger... I recently read about how great they are, and how it's the first thing you should do when you have a supercharged engine, etc... I just want to learn more about them; Perhaps some links as well.
I have a 1992 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi Supercharged, in case you needed to know. How much will this cost? Can I do it myself? Where can I get a pulley? What size? Any additional maintnance? Thanks in advance for any help. -Jeff- |

And buy a scantool if the 2.2" is tempting you.
Pulleys can be purchased from www.pulleyboys.com A standard 3-jaw gearpuller will work if you do it carefully. You'll need an old belt to hold the old pulley in order to break the nut loose. Put the belt around the pulley, and hold with large pliers while you loosen the old nut. Keep in mind you'll need to also replace your tensioner pulley with a 3.5". |
