Default Flextune E85 kits and others i fond

hello i was looking around and fond this E85 kits there are more

robert

Flextune is manufactured in Brazil, and have been ranking as "The Best Aftermarket Converter in Brazil" - whit a monthly production capacitate 50,000 unit - a country which has been using 20% ethanol in their gas since the 70’*. Now, the technology is available to the US and European markets.

Flextune is a product developed with the highest technology, managed by microprocessors associated with a software, that can make the fuel E85 or separate each fuel precisely, maintaining the stoichiometric point and producing the most complete, economical and safe combustion for the vehicle.

Flextune Generation II is totally AUTOMATIC, there is no fuel selection switch, the management system recognizes by "lambda Sonda" which fuel or E85 is being used in any proportion.

The Flextune adapts itself to most vehicles with digital multipoint electronic injection MPI(MPFI) available in the market, including imported models.

Port or multi-point fuel injection MPI(MPFI) - Compatible.
Sequential fuel injection MPI(MPFI)* - Compatible.
Analogy electronic injection system, LE- KE- Jetronic - not compatible.
Single-point or throttle body injection (TBI) - not compatible.
Cold start

Is a fully automatic and programmable system whit a "cold start kit" whose functions are controlled by software. This software operates with the information received from the temperature sensor, and injects gasoline direct into the engine.

The cold start kit system can be programmed whit a Flextune Hallmeter/controller.

Does the conversion with Flextune increase the fuel consumption?
The consumption of a car that originally uses gasoline will use 15-30% more alcohol because of the fuel characteristics.

If I have a gasoline vehicle and convert it to alcohol, am I going to damage the engine?
The conversion of a gasoline original car to a bi-fuel, using Flextune technology may not cause any kind of damage to the engine or to its mechanical pieces. It has not been observed corrosion not even deterioration over than what normally occurs while using gasoline.

In fact, in many cases it is possible to check an increasing on the engine lifetime while using alcohol, especially because there is no contamination with lubricating oil. Moreover, alcohol combustion is smoother and may reduce the friction between the pieces and consequently its spoil. Spark plugs, piston heads and valves are also benefited for a greater alcohol power of cooling.

As the gasoline presents a variable percentage of alcohol depending on governmental laws in vigour, injector plugs, spark plugs and other parts of the engine may have a good resistance against this kind of fuel.

In old models, the carburettor used to suffer considerable deterioration when working with alcohol and it could also affect the engine functioning. Nowadays, this system has not been used anymore and the injection system is projected to support alcohol, considering that a part of the gasoline is composed by alcohol.

Will I miss torque if having alcohol in my car?
If using alcohol in your vehicle with Flextune converter, there is no miss of torque and you can also have it increased in 3-5%. It may happen because of alcohol characteristics.

Does the Flextune cheat on the signals?
No, it does not. This system runs adapting the injection signals and makes them compatible for both fuels.

What is the difference between the Flextune and a chip?
It may not be called a chip. It uses an intelligent centre to make the systems compatible for alcohol and gasoline with no alteration on the components and/or from the original injection centre of the car.

Would the vehicle miss its originality?
Flextune installation is made with no mechanical alterations nor cutting any wires or even any other mechanical changes. Your vehicle is kept original.

Is the system irreversible?
For its installation, connectors are used with no wire cutting, nor any other mechanical changes. As a result, Flextune maintains the originality of your vehicle and it can be replaced anytime.

This product may be adaptable to most vehicles with digital multipoint electronic injection, including imported ones and its removal from one vehicle to another will not be made just in case they are not compatible.

Does Flextune work using only alcohol or it can use a mixture?
Flextune is a bi-fuel converter (for vehicles that originally used gasoline) and will allow you to choose while filling up the tank. Just after Flextune converter installation, you will be able to decide between alcohol, gasoline and a mixture of both, reducing your expenses with fuel as well.

What if I sell my car?
This product is compatible to most vehicles with digital multipoint electronic injection, including imported ones and its removal will not be done just in case the vehicles are not compatible.

There are many different models from Flextune according to the engine types as 4C, 6C, 8C etc… it is important to remind you that when purchasing a Flextune 4C this may be installed again in any other car for the same engine model.

What if I have a customized product and have my car changed?
The product will be compatible to any kind of vehicle with the same number and configuration of cylinders. E.g. customized 4C will be compatible to any engine with 4 cylinders.

Ok, and the performance is WHERE?

What point are you trying to make?

Just from reading through that, it seems like one of those banks power systems for the turbo diesels. I would guess it plugs in line with the o2 sensor and all of the injectors, calculates the fuel delivery based on what it reads, and what the PCM wants to inject? Something tells me that if this is the case, the injector cycles will be delayed, if only a ms or three. Very interesting though. I would like to see some cars that are actually running this system.

Im sorry but this one just raised the red (or yellow) flag for me:

No contamination from lubricationg oil? There will ALWAYS be contamination, even minute ones, that is the nature of the engine. Thats why you change it out ever 3k. Reduce friction between the pieces? What the hell do you think oil is for in the first place anyway???

From what I understand, ethanol causes more corrosion than regular gasoline. Someone correct me if im wrong (or back me up if im right!)

But to me that post spews out so much BS that I think we need to call the janitor.

You could be right, but the 10% blend we have here was run in my car, and every car I owned before that(save for when I went to premium), with no troubles. People always talk down about ethanol, but I wouldn't hesitate to run it in any application. It keeps the fuel system clean to boot!

Yea, but this is 85% we are talking here. You are talking about 10% which is miniscule.

alot of premium pumps are being put into e85 service here. Meaning I am losing places to get premium.
