One thing to remember. 2003'* having the hardened 4th output shaft is very dependent on the production date. I have not yet found the actual date of switch over, but a 2003 car producted in Nov of 2002 had a non hardened 4th hub shaft. That I saw first hand.

Didn't know that. Good info. How can one find the date of their transmission?

Got the Vin # of the donor? Have a dealer run it for parts etc and the build date will come up.

If you bought the parts from a JY, the vin is supposed to be on the reciept.

Alright, I'll check the receipt. I got the transmission online from a company that buys auto insurance wrecks and parts them out.
