Dan, bill, this is up your alley. As you know we are putting a "new" engine into my GP, its from a 1999 bonnie.... the supercharger is APPARENTLY different, not by much but im in a state right now

tell me what the difference is, and what it goes to/does that I need to be aware of
Supercharger from 1999 Bonneville

Supercharger from 1999 Grand Prix

notice the TEE???? what the crap is it for???? im using the bonnie SC and need to know if I should cap it off, as its not used on the GP, or what

HAALLLPPP!!!!!

First picture is of a charger off a 1997 motor. That'* why the tee. If you cap those ports and setup all the vacuum lines like your 99 was, you will be perfectly fine.

It'* a question of where you want to harvest the vaccum from, the T or the LIM port. Overall it'* all the same though.

How I know the year of the charger, 1996 had coating on the outside of the charger body and a vacuum tree by the TB. 1997 had no coating on the body, only the snout and a vacuum tree by the TB. 1998+ had coating only on the snout like 97 and no vacuum tree by the TB.

Awesome thanks Bill... the tech hadnt even noticed yet, i've been helping him off and on because I love getting involved, and its my car haha... I pointed the differences out and he said we could just cap them, that on my 99 it probably wouldn't matter but i wanted to find out the reason for the extra lines before just capping them off lol

You can cap those vacuum Tees off, not a problem. But you will need to pull that vacuum from under the snout then. That'* for the boost control and FPR
