Need some information ASAP!

For a top secret project ;)

I need photos and measurements of any SSEi fuel pump from 92-95 AND 96-99 for comparison.

A big ground-breaking project depends on this, and haste is of the utmost importance. Findings and conclusions will be posted publicly.

These mysterious mods are getting lame Bill, just tell us what you want to do and we can probably put all our heads together to get it done in less than a week.

I'll get you some of my replacement stocker tomorrow. It's still on the living room floor. ;)

Then maybe some of the original, if I'm feeling ambitious enough to swap them.

This isn't for my car, but applies to the 92-95 SSEi. This is a favor for another member, and results will be posted when we know what's up. Not really a mystery mod, just trying to solve a problem.

Lets see those pics, then we'll talk about the MYSTERY!

Wasn't Jwickoff or driverjohn looking into this?

I've heard the story, its' a shame...

Ok, well the new pump I have came in a box marked EP311, 25117339. Those seem like the correct numbers for a 92 L67. But, the pump itself looks most like, but not just like the EP367 pump pictured above. I went to ACDelco.com and searched the casting number on the pump, and it cross-referenced to the EP367. Does someone else have the same problem, Bill?

That does look like the same connector and fuel tube.

GM lists the possibility that 92-95 may need to change connectors. A major fuel pump change took place in 1994 or early 1995.

Keep me posted on the swap, John. We're on the verge of a breakthrough here.
Thanks to both of you......DrJay has some info that may help finish this up.

And Mkaake behind the scenes ;)

Where might I get the new connector?

J Wikoff 08-04-2004 05:39 PM

CORRECTION!! The casting number on the pump I got cross-referenced for the EP376, not EP367. It says it's for the 92-96 5.7L car V8, including the Corvette. I found its picture, and I've got he pump in the pic, but not all the same hardware. What exactly do I have?

Here's the hardware I have:
