Intake/filter upgrade
Ok guys...I'm starting to catch the mod bug. So far, I'm keeping my pulley stock, but I've already dropped to the 180* stat and am looking at going with a cone filter intake. I did a search on some guys who did this mod but the pics were no longer available. I was also under the impression that the PCM was located inside the stock airbox. I'm not looking to change that at this time. If I'm biting of more than I can chew, that'* cool. But I would like to get a lil more air into the engine. Until gas drops some, I'm going to try and keep the fuel suckin' mods to a minimum. Thanks in advance!
On a side note...would replacing the PCV valve do anything for an idle that drops below the 650 range at stoplights just briefly before returning to normal? Probably a retarded question, but hey...gotta start somewhere!

I helped an 00+ member remove some excess plastic inside the airbox and drop in a K&N...it also worked out well. However...the bug is too close behind you to bother wasting time with that stock airbox.
Want to borrow my pulley puller? lol

I have an old laptop that I'm going to try and sell on Ebay. I plan on using that $$ to buy an Intense FWI. Question: would replacing the stock box with a FWI void any warranties? If it does, I will wait until my extended warranty expires to install.
