Need some advice on some readings from my car.
readings from my riviera with a 2.4 pulley FWI. Hi-flow cat. and 2 1992 parkavenue injectors replaced under duress (spelling) (inside joke)
Mat: 288 degrees BLM: 137 Int: 128 Adv : 13 degrees KR :2 degrees this is at WOT. |
Looks pretty normal. On a hot day, you're going to have more KR. Be careful with that. 2.4 may have been a bit too aggressive without a better exhaust, particularly ported exhaust manifolds.

MAT of 288 degrees? ... really?

MAT of 288 degrees? ... really? Is that good or bad? |
Um, thats really high
|
uh-oh ummm...k Really high?! what is the norm for our cars (I hope it is just a bad sensor)
|
We don't have a MAT sensor. You do. I don't know what your normal readings should be. Do you have an FSM?
|
Hmm, I interepreted it as IAT, because my scantool says MAT instead, when I know I don't have an MAT to begin with.

Disconnect your IAT and see what the scanner says.

I think 288 might be the realm of the max reading for the IAT...

Mat: 288 degrees BLM: 137 Int: 128 Adv : 13 degrees KR :2 degrees this is at WOT. BLM's of 137? Your running really lean. What are your 02's at WOT? Judging by how high your BLM's are and your INTs at 128 I can tell that your PCM has learned that you need more fuel and basically is finished learning how much fuel it needs. I think you need a bigger pulley. |
Or to check the fuel pressure. That's becoming a typical problem on the 92-95 L67's with age now. It's best to replace the pump and regulator at the same time if you don't meet spec.
You need at LEAST 41 psi at idle to run a smaller pulley. |
