I honestly think a L67 swap or even selling the SE for a SSEi woudl be the most cost effective method than turbo...
On the Ed Morad (Ebay site) there'* a complete drop out L67/trans and wiring (I think) for 1500. then you take the rest of that money you would have spent for the turbo and mod the L67 to go faster.
Turbo kit from ZZP- 2499
trans for this (probably)-700
Total-----------------3100
L67 Swap (includes motor/trans/wiring)- 1500
Mods to make it go faster- 1000
Total-------------------------2500
That'* my honest opinion.

The Bonneville bodies are the same, only difference is the molding and interior adornments.
I think you just need the motor/trans including some axles, and the wiring and a higher flow fuel pump. I forget some of the details.
