Just got an 01' SSEi (107K mi),bought in Plymouth Mi and drove it home to Idaho..What has been found for pulleysize(w/o other mods?),computer mod(prefered)&K&N, have installed Bosch plugs,have a guy that says he can hook his laptop up($200) and make it go!).I have a laptop but no idea how to go that route myself.I'm like all I guess,want more GO,better mpg,do it reasonable and don't want to tear it up or wreck something in the process.Chips don't seem avaialble that are worth the effort?Not hardcore enough to do intakes,valves etc,also pretty pricey.

Any learned info would be appreciated from those of you not "new" to this game of SSEi'*.

you will need a intake, 180 thermo, before the 3.4 pulley. You can get a intense PCM for 100 with the core

Just for the record I didn't mention INTENSE and I can't control the actions of others. It would seem to me that if a certain name kept coming up that people were happy enough with products and services to recommend them. I'm all for people doing research into companies and products before they buy but don't come rolling your eyes in a thread simply because we keep coming up as a goto vendor. Simply state you've had good experiences with other companies and list them.

My comment was not directed torward you at all.
I'm rolling my eyes because i've been noticing this pattern for a while now.
It just seems limiting to me, only mentioning one vendor.
I actually waited till today to see if anyone else was going to post ANY other vendor and it didn't happen.
People are obiously happy with intense which is a good thing. By all means recomend a company if you've had good experiences with them.
It'* just that i know there are plenty of other people on here that are just as happy with other vendors. But nobody says anything. It just dosen't seem right.
And i think www.winterhalterperformance.com went out of business. Apparently the guy owe'* people money and parts.

i mentioned intense because "everyone seems to love them" (their PCM) i'm not putting down anyone else, but under the circumstances why would/should i pay the extras money for another companys PCM when i have heard nothing but great reviews of the Intense...

No bias here, just giving advice based on my own opinions and knowledge and testimonials i have heard.
