New Struts from Gabriel??? Ultra G-Force?
I found out that Gabriel is making a pseudo high performance strut with an application available for our cars. Has anyone installed these yet? They are under the Gabriel Ultra brand.

I have Gabriel'* on the front, I don't recall which one, but it was the most 'sporty' they had 3 years ago. I'm pleased with them, as is everyone that'* driven my car.

I had Gabriele VST'* on my 95 at one point... I'm almost starting to wonder if I should give the Ultras a shot... They are a lot cheaper than the Monroes
From what I could find G56718( front ) 54.99
And the rear with ELC G56903 60.99
Wondering if its worth it..

I will need new struts in the near future and I would certainly like to improve its "stable as a drunk person" handling characteristics.
I'll have to look into them as Jr just said they were cheaper than Monroe...

uhh i got mine at AutoZone for $50 each...were not too hard to install
but if ur gonna do urs, REMEMBER TO grease the upper strut bearing pack! most likely it will be dry...believe me, your steering will feel a little different afterwards.

And the sad part is that the 91 is doing the same thing, and the 91 SSE strut mounts are well... Dead...
God these cars are going to tear a hole in my pocket... I am planning on replacing the springs on my 91 LE for a firmer ride while I'm at it
But I'm still thinking about those Ultras

Gabriel ultra struts
Excellent shock/strut. More control than CCR system set to performance mode but less harsh on small bumps. Very stable side to side...almost like bigger sway bars front and rear. I do not like the Monroe strut as it seems to float too much at freeway speed. These struts are on Amazon with free shipping and if you spend $100 you get instant $20 off. SO order two struts get $20 off then on separate order order two more and get another $20 off. Total price to your door is $210 for all four struts. G56718 for fronts and G 56903 for rears with auto leveling. I like a firm ride with a LOT of control and I am very happy with these struts. Seems like a different vehicle even when comparing to CCR system working well set to performance mode. If you want a smooth soft ride these are NOT the strut for you but most of us here want performance right? Hope this helps.

Good to have an additional report from a member with a 92-99. Sounds like these puppies could be a great deal. You definitely have the wheels turning in my head.
