Plug and O2 sensor installation cost.
6 spark plugs gapped and installed and O2 sensor installed. Labor Rate ideas? Dont want to do it myself and will not no matter how easy you say it is.

do it yourself man.. if you've gotton that far, you may as well do it yourself.
Just get a 'plug wrench, and go after the plugs, and get a cresent wrench [size???], to get the o2 sensor off. Plus the satisfaction of doing it yourself. [also when unplugging the 'plug wires, be sure to note their order, mixing them up is bad]

If you have the parts just stop by a repair shop and ask for install price, should be about $50 -$75. Stay away from bigger shops as they will charge a set rate?

Ive had work done at a Pep Boys before so would it be cool to just have it done there? They seem to do it pretty quick too but I was thinking of just getting them installed at Pontiac when I get my oil changed so I would feel good knowing that GM mechanics were working on my car. I seriously dont want anything to go wrong in the future so I want this to be done right.

if you feel that *searching for word* stressed about the possibility of putting your own spark plugs in, than maybe this one should be left to others. just know that you're going to pay someone about 100 dollars or so (possibly more, with 02 sensor) to replace stuff that would take less than an hour (even for the un-initiated) to replace. if you're alright with that, then find a local dealer. doesn't matter how long it actually takes them to replace a part, they have standard set hours that get charged based on the work you do. So you should be able to call a dealer and get a quote over the phone...

OK I wanted to install the o2 sensor myself but I just realized that the one I have has only 1 wire and the stock one has like 3 wires I think. What do I do now? Did I just waste $16 or can it still be done? Arent the other wires for like heating it or something? Oh and what is the stock gap for my spark plugs? I know Ive asked before but I forgot and cant find the thread.
