Motor swap on a 96 se?
I was just wondering if it could be done and about how much it would cost? Right now i have a se but i would like to have a supercharged bonneville. also is there anyone around iowa?

yes i was wondering how much labor would be. If i was to get a motor though could it just be from a junk yard? or would it be better to find someone on the forums I saw that they did it in a 00 thats why i asked about my 96

do you know where a good place to find a motor would be. Im still in high school so people dont always take me serious when i call about that stuff

You could easily go with Ed Morad. He'* in Ohio. His specialty is 3800'* and all parts for 3800'*. Which makes him about the coolest guy around.

That'* the price if you have everything you need and can do the work yourself, Bandit. Let'* get serious here.
He can sell his 96 SE for 2500 and I gaurantee he can find an SSEi around the same vintage for less than 2k more.
