this may be kinda a dumb question

but is there a site or something that I cam look at to ma ke my car look unique?? not body kits and shit just stuff that might make it stand out a lil more

Jim W 07-15-2003 10:13 AM

What do you have in mind? Lowering your car gives it a nice customize aggressive look, only go 1.5" or so. Of course rims and rubber are the single most effective way to modifiy the look of your car. Tints, higher end lighting, interior lighthing, racing stripes. It really depends on what you want to do.

Make a list of items that you want to address. At least then its easier to direct you to good sites. Are you more interested in the show? or the go?

o no I want my car to haul ass but I want it to look like is can as well

Jim W 07-15-2003 10:35 AM

If you wanna haul ass on a budget...without getting into major engine mods. I suggest

Cold Air Intake
Exhaust (Cat-back is all good)
PCM chip
Higher end ignition
Wires/plugs

Check out our vendors, they have lots of kick ass goodies for you. take a look at the links section for addresses

I'll let the other pros dance here for ya.

I had a question on exhaust earlier and what I ended up gettin out of it is on my 92 se I should get 2.5 in pipe high flow cat no resitnator with 80 series flowmaster
what do you think will it sound nice?? (not ricey)

Jim W 07-15-2003 10:48 AM

If you went with an 80 Series flowmaster with a 2.5' pipe with no res...you're laughing, it'll sound great. Not ricey at all.

I basically have the same system. High flow cat, 2.5" pipe, to a Magnaflow muffler. I also posted an audio clip of the exhuast to give an idea of how it sounds. At least it will give you an idea of what you can do with yours

Have a listen

http://jonathaneger.com/rumbly.wav

Let it load, then replay it at least 2. Its kinda low quality but you'll get the idea

Mike S 07-15-2003 11:02 AM

how did you do that??

Jim W 07-15-2003 11:22 AM

My old school 1996 Canon Powershot 600 digital camera has audio recording capabilities. Just like some of the new cameras can record audio/video...well my cam is the grandpappy of digi cams.

The quality leaves something to be desired, but it gets the point across :D

Mike S 07-15-2003 11:42 AM

thats coo umm yeah I think I am going to go with the flowmaster 80 series thanx
