Well earlier today i bought SSAUTOCHROME headers and i am waiting for them to come in. When they come how hard are they to install to a 2000 pontiac bonneville SLE? and will i need a different trans dipstick? or does the ssac bolt right up?

You will need a W body (97-07) dipstick tube. The stick itself is the same. You will also want to get torca clamps to replace the horrible ones that come with the kit. Keep the factory stainless steel exhaust manifold gaskets at the heads instead of using the supplied ones and you'll be a happy camper.

One other thing is.. the O2 bung should be looked at before the headers are installed. Recently I did a set on a W body (totally different body) and the O2 hit the body due to O2 location of bung. Tthat'* why I mention it. A quick look may have you stop at a shop to put a different one in a better location.

ZZP sells the tubes. As for the clamps, check out a diesel shop. They tend to have good heavy duty clamps.

yes the dipstick tube is a must or you will dump trans fluid all over your drive way
also you could weld the downpipe where the stupid clamp is, and as for the other clamps any auto store should carry them, also on my 95 the o2 bung actually fit perfect but i needed a wire extender harness, look at jegs they seemed to have the right price, and a quick tip...put the trans tube in first before anything else, it will save you a bunch of O-rings,hours, and cursing.
