Default CAI Extender? (HighTempSilicone)

My CAI right now is just a bit too short, i want to put it up next to the light so i can get the optimum air i need. I was wondering if this coupler from HighTempSilicone would work, just slide one end over the tube, and one end over the filter, only problem i could think of is that the filter wouldnt have enough length that would slide into the coupler to make it hold its weight?

It dont like like it could hold the weight, but it would hold the air in.

He'* actually visited our site. Look for the username that matches the business name

Those look very similar in function and construction to the one on my ADTR.

They look just like my Samco sport coupler/reducer. It works good for me, and it has good play in it, while still clamping damn well.

Get a longer filter. 9" K&N'* are popular.

Wouldnt that still bring in more hot air then extending his pipe a little?

The coupler is only 3" in length. HOw much weight does this coupler need to support? Depending on the required length, the hose will not collapse. The long the hose length the higher the chance of a collapsed hose.

Let me know the weight and the length and I will see if I can give you my opinion.

Are we using this to attach to the TB? Or to 'splice' two pieces together?
