Tires?
I am going to get some new skins put on in about a half hour--only two now--two in the spring (I was going to do all four in the spring, but I cleaned the surface of the road on the way into work this morning--picked up a chunk of metal 1.25" wide--don't know how long yet). I have the Goodyear Eagle GA touring (T rated)--would like to go to an H rated to keep up with my Supercharger.
My question is: has anyone ever heard of Yokohama YK420'*???
This is a 60k tire--H rated.
I'm leaving in about 10 min to purchase. Please respond.

A buddy of mine has them on his tuned Camry, likes them alot. He got them at Discount Tire, he recommends getting them siped, says it does wonders in the rain.

Thanks Buddha Jones,
I went ahead and purchased a couple (at Discount Tire). I couldn't afford to get them siped, though. I wasn't expecting to have to purchase them today. Under better circumstanses I would have shopped around and asked for imput from all of you. I saw some nice performance tires at Poop Boys but I can't beat the warrentee of Discount. The tires came with the car, along with a warrentee for two of them from Discount Tire. The guy told me that the warrentee was actually for the front two (according to the date) but he still honored it for the one that blew! I like dealing with them--even if they are slower than slow. They don't seem to be as wide as the Goodyear GA'* though. I like a real wide tire.

NP, you really cant beat the warranty, free tire rotation and balancing and all that crap. I like the Yokes, I got the Avid Touring, a bit smoother ride and crazy life expectancy. And a bit wider
