Lucas and Seafoam
Just called a local pep boys looking for some seafoam, didnt have any but had some lucas products they said, and said it was the same concept. So after a little research it looks like it really doesnt do the samething, lucas is more of an additive then a engine cleaner. And I really dont believe in oil additives, thats why i get synthetic anyways. Tranny additive looke allright though.

Seafoam can be had at your local WalMart...

Seafoam is either put in the gas tank, or it's pulled in through a vacuum line straight into the intake plenum, and cleans out the intake tracts, and combustion chambers, from all the buildup and carbon that's there.
Lucas changes the oil. Pep Boys guy needs to get hit. |
All the Pep Boys need a good slap in the face or two or three.

I like Pep Boys for the variety they carry, but like most stores, I walk in there knowing exactly what I want. They tend to be the larger stores around here, but I don't trust counter monkeys anymore
(Sorry Kenn! No offense. You, I would trust) |

seafoam can also be put in the oil to clean out the passageways.

it will clean out the oil passageways if you put it in the oil. If you put it in the vac lines it is cleaning out the intake mani, heads, cylinders and probaby a little of the exhaust manis.\
Read the bottle, it tells you what it is used for better than I can. |
