Default L67 Intake options?

They look pretty darn limited for the Bonneville aspect of modification. I noticed SLP sells a low key CAI setup, but its not listed as being compatible with the Bonneville. PFYC.com sells a few others and a simple K&N filter installation kit. I know something about Jason starting up a possie of cheap Autozone intakes as well. So can someone break down my options and price ranges?

The autozone pipe would suit you good. around 40 for the pipe, then 25-50 for the filter. pretty good setup

I have the SLP kit for my car. Its going away in favor of an FWI. The cone is only a 7incher and I just need more air Its a nice setup in that it holds the pcm inside it. Not sure about the 96-99 SSEi'* but it required slight adapting to my 00.

The downside to something like this is what to do with the PCM that resides in the stock airbox. Some velcro it down to the top of the engine bay where the stock box used to be. There is a part number from a blazer that has a pcm tray that fits perfectly for the w-bodies and costs like 15 bucks. I am going to try this this weekend.

Rouge, I'm guessing your intake/PCM area is similar to mine. Does the SLP intake have a spot of the radiator hose to slide into? And it houses the entire PCM you said?

I need to be a moderator so I can edit everyones decimation of my nick I'm not sure what your refering to when you say radiator hose. I have no such hose even into my stock airbox. The SLP unit does indeed enclose the PCM. I'll try to get pictures of it up.

Oh, I'm so misspelling your name for now one Rouge.

When you are standing in front of your car looking at the engine (at least for me), there is a radiator hose coming out on the upper right corner of the radiator and the stock airbox molds itself around this hose. I was curious if the SLP works around this or if its small enough to completely ignore this hose.
