Default I found a cold air intake for the bonneville!

hey guys I found this website that makes performance parts just for cars with the 3800 in them. I have been debating on building my own cold air intake but they are the only company I have found that makes one. has anyone ever heard of them? what are your thoughts on their cold air intake? I want as many opinions as possible before I buy it. thanks in advance. http://www.3800performance.com/Merch...roduct_Count=0

I don't know about the new ones, but the old ones didn't require ALOT of modification. From what i remember from TaylorD'* setup you just had to trim the box down a little bit and it fit fine.

Superflash32 has one from that website.

Fitment appeared to be poor. Looked like they used a GP box without modifications and there'* plenty of areas for engine bay air to get into the box etc.

Looking for a pic.

Edit: Found them

Alot of money for that, especially since I don't believe it is a K&N filter. Note it says: "K&N style" cone filter.

The other downside to the Thrasher unit is the use of the accordian connector. It is horrible for turbulence and will not allow you to remove the fhrottle body flow straightener. This will cost you about 5 hp IMO. The lack of a good air seal will cost you another 5-10.
Go with the Intense system.
