Aftermarket boost gauge better than stock?

Aftermarket boost gauge better than stock?
How accurate are the stock boost gauges? It doesnt really show a number, per say, kinda just shows how much. Would swapping in and mounting an aftermarker one be a more precise way of seeing exactly how many PSI? Or should I just save up for an Aeroforce gauge?
Here are what I was looking at (gonna try on Ebay).... these are a lil more affordable for me right now than an aeroforce gauge... I wanna know exactly how many, thats all, I figure a more accurat reading will help with modding

The boost gauge (or scale in your case) is nothing more than an indication that the BCS and BCA are working properly. Knowing exactly what PSI it is would be worthless to you.
You'll have to decide from there. Once you have a baseline (which line it goes to) established, you're good.

IMO and I have an aftermarket one, it'* mute. Save the money.. and put it into an Aeroforce fund. The Aeroforce will tell you boost and tons more.
As the other Bill mentioned..it'* only going to indicate that your parts are working. Pressure above 10psi is basically telling you it'* time to do more work on your engine.
Build up all the pressure you want in the manifold..pressure in the manifold isn't flowing into the cylinders efficiently and therefore it'* a reading of manifold pressure not added power.

i have the first link u posted. the AutoMeter Phantom -30vacuum to 20psi....comes with 2 rubber covers for the background bulb. red and green. red is perfect cuz we have all red gauge cluster. i like it. its accurate.
