Default Wheel spin sensors

I did some 0-60 runs with the WSS pulled today. After some practice with the launch, I managed to pull off a 7.2 sec run with a full tank of gas. This seems kind of slow compared to the 7.0 that I pulled off w/o the sensors pulled and a near empty tank. Do I need to practice my launches more, or is it because of the added weight of the gas? Any advice is appreciated.

Okay, for every 100lbs removed, that is 1/10 sec removed from your ET. I don't know how much 18ga of gas weighs.. but it sounds about right.. not to mention we have FWD cars, and the weight added to the rear is even worse than weight to the front.

Try running with a 1/4 tank, and deflate your front tires some...(is it front or back?)

you deflat the front and make sure that the back tires have enough air

A basic rule of thumb is 7-8 pounds per gallon.....for just about any liquid. Diesel will be a little heavier, and gas will be a little lighter as that is based on the weight of water......but that will give you an idea.

Thanks. How much of a gain does everyone see with their sensors pulled?

you want to practice launching with your ELC jacked all the way up. It puts more weight over the front wheels and makes the back sag less

My SSEi doesn't have the performance ride switch. Is the ELC already as high as it will go, or is there some way to manually adjust it?

Actually some people get better times with higher pressures in our car. I dropped from 35 to 27 and it did nothing for me.
