Im no expert but i had a 100 pound half stack in my car (a Bonne) and it didnt move that well, and when it came out it moved again. So i was thinking and then i took out the passanger seat (which is easy to do cause of 6 little bolts) which helped pick up, but i had to put it back later. Cause i felt stupid.

Does anyone have any ideas to reduce the weight of a bonne?
Cause they are really heavy cars

For a track run? That'* not going to be accurate in any sense. I run my cars at the track in street trim for a reason. I know what they will do on the street against my competitors.

The only difference is WHEN you get to the point you can't hold traction at the track on street tires. Up until now, I've kept steet trim on both cars at the track. This year, I'll run slicks on the Zilla, but only because of MAJOR lack of traction.

Want a good challenge? Want to know what you REALLY have? Run at the track in street trim like most of us at WCBF do. Nobody pulls rear seats out here.

Rear seats aren't really anything in our cars either IMO. The bottom cushion is like a piece of paper.

Compared to newer cars we're pretty light 92-99. New Eclipse coupes weigh as much as my Bonnie.

I did some weight weight reduction.
I stripped my trunk bare.
(1/2 the reason is I had my bike in and out of there so much and I didn't want to mess up the carpet)
I also got rid of the carpet padding under the rug inside the car. It will make road noise etc. a bit louder though.
Theres also engine lift brackets and misc extra bolts you can remove from the engine bay. (keep it safe though!)
Lighter wheels and tires are a plus, thats why I got 15 lb rims. Less rotating mass to get going. Its tough to find a light tire that has good performance though.

For weight reduction, if you are a bigger person...consider a diet yourself. Many times we don't look at ourselves when we consider overall weight of the vehicle. Many have mentioned safe weight saving areas. Each little piece doesn't weight much.. but added together things like changing the trunk to one w/o a spoiler, taking excess items (not jack and spare) out of the trunk and the little things like that can add up. However alone..each doesn't do much.

Last WCBF I removed my spare tire, jack, truck contents, did the ELC trick, removed the rear seat (yes, I did that lol), and the floor mats. Most of my runs were made with someone riding shotgun, however, both seats were moved ahead as much as posslible (mine a little less) for weight transfer properties, ELC takes care of most of that.
