K&N Air Filter???

I have a 2002 SSEI. I'm thinking about putting a K&N Air Filter on. How much power/performance will it add compared to the stock filter? Will it affect my gas mileage under normal driving conditions? I'm not a big mods guy, but I'm also thinking about some day changing my exhaust, adding performance chip, and adding performance shift kit. Are those good or bad ideas? So far I've heard good. This forum is cool! I've been looking for some Bonneville (Pontiac) enthusiasts for a while! Caranddriver.com just wasn't cutting it! Appreciate your opinions and advice.

Get the popcorn out. There's a ton of info up there in the Techinfo link. ;)
