Sounds kinda like what I want to do. But it'* getting cold up here, so one I get my pressure regulator in and the TB cleaned, I'm probably done till spring.

That, and right now the only tools I have for cutting metal are a hacksaw and tin snips. Still hoping for that Dremel for BDay or Xmas. I think I've been whining and promising enough projects to talk the missus in to it!

That would be a good idea.. a few members have thought of this a while back but no one has done it yet ( as no one had time to figure out where the canister would be mounted/relocated to )

I was JUST thinking about that the past couple days. I was looking at my friend'* Tiburon. He has the filter right behind the grill openings/in front of the wheel well...right in the path of the air. I never thought to much about moving the cannister though. I just want the filter to be closer to the airflow...unless I can figure out a reeeeally effective ram air system, until I get a hood in the future.

going through the body downward will make it difficult to get the intake point into the air stream... slightly difficult, but i see it as i better idea to go through the body behind the headlight, slightly downward, across the bumper mount, and yet again downward to the edge of the lower air intake, right in the air stream.

I'll pull my bumper off if you really are interested in doing it this way. (I didn't take any pictures of the install)

Why are you going to put a bypass valve on it?
